Floraliënhal

The Floralies Palace is doubtless the most famous pavilion in the Citadelpark. Built for the 1913 World Expo, this hall was the very first MICE infrastructure in Belgium. Visitors from all over the world came here to attend congresses and conferences during the World’s Fair. These spacious halls are also home to the Floraliën Gent, a unique floriculture and horticulture festival that is organized every four years.

Address: Citadelpark, 9000 Gent (the ’t Kuipke and Floraliënhal are located in the Citadelpark and inside the same building).

't Kuipke

Cycling enthusiasts are probably familiar with ’t Kuipke, a legendary velodrome or “piste” located in Citadelpark, a large green lung in the city. This cycling track hosts the yearly Six Days of Ghent, a world-famous cycling event where the very best track cyclists compete for victory. Moreover, ’t Kuipke hosts concerts, exhibitions, festivals and amazing congresses like Velo-city.

Pedestrians experience more! Immerse yourself in the city life and enjoy a 10-minute walk from the Gent-Sint-Pieters train station or a 20-minute walk from the city centre. Simply use Google maps or get a free city map at your hotel, the train station or the Ghent tourist office.

By public transport

Plan your trip at www.delijn.be/routeplanner and hop on a tram or bus to the venue. Choose the bus stop ‘Gent Ledeganckstraat’, which is located next to the venue. Buy your tickets in advance at The Lijnwinkel, located at the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station and Korenmarkt, or at the vending machines at bus and tram stops. It is also possible to check in with your debit card (contactless payment on the bus or tram).

By car
