Walinase Munthali works at Lilongwe City Council as the Deputy Director of Engineering Services responsible for planning, designing, and implementation of road infrastructure in the city. She sets the standards for roads being constructed in the city and approvals to road infrastructure being constructed by other stakeholders within the city boundaries. She holds a M.Sc. in Sustainable Engineering Management and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from The Polytechnic.
