Toby Liu is a postgraduate researcher at University College London’s Bartlett School of Planning, completing an MSc in Transport and City Planning. His dissertation, Simulating Ownership: How Temporary Bicycle Access Enables Urban Cycling Transition, explores medium-term access models as catalysts for inclusive urban mobility. Alongside his studies, Toby works with Tokyobike London, where he connects design-led practice with sustainable transport research. His broader interests include cycling equity, spatial design, and the integration of active travel within liveable cities.
