Responsible for the Metropolitan Bicycle Office at Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Ruth is an engineer, urban cyclist and mother, and the three aspects inspire her work around the bicycle in equal parts. Civil Engineering by training with a postgraduate degree in environmental applications of GIS, has worked in the university, social organizations, private consultancy and actually, in a public institution, which make her a sustainable transport and a committed mobility professional. She dedicates her professional time promoting public policies around cycling in the whole metropolis of Barcelona. Open to work hand to hand with City Councils, public institutions, companies, social organizations and citizens in order to make Barcelona's metropolitan territory more cycle friendly.
