"My passion is developing people and creating high performing teams who share a higher purpose - to build a better world together. I have twenty five years’ experience of leading, inspiring and motivating teams to achieve outstanding results. I focus on the outdoors - active travel, environmental conservation and built heritage. I especially love audacious projects like the 12,000 mile National Cycle Network, used by millions of people every year. Other highlights include the Anderton Boat Lift restoration and the floating visitor centre at Brockholes Nature Reserve. In my spare time, I’m a Leadership Coach for Queen Bee Coaching at the Pankhurst Centre and a mentor for the Osprey Leadership Foundation. I was a Trustee of the Octagon Theatre for six years, where we raised £12m to rebuild this inspirational space. I love cycling, running and cold water swimming too - culminating in the camaraderie of an annual triathlon."
