Roberta Frisoni is an economist specializing in transport economics, regulation, and policy. Throughout her career, she has worked on a variety of projects for both public institutions and private clients. In December 2024, she was appointed as Councillor for Tourism, Trade, and Sport for the Emilia-Romagna Region. From 2016 to 2024, she was in charge of Urban Planning and Transport for the Municipality of Rimini, a city undergoing a major regeneration process to enhance its position as a key tourist destination. Prior to this experience, she worked for several years at Steer Davies Gleave, where she was involved in key impact assessments for the European Commission and projects for the European Parliament. She also supported business development activities in the transport sector across various modes and services—including bus, rail, and cycling—both in Italy and abroad. She has deep experience in project management and has successfully led large international and multidisciplinary teams. She enjoys challenging goals and is highly committed to reaching set targets through strong organization, great flexibility, effective teamwork, and a touch of intuition.
