With more than fifteen years of experience in the public sector, I contribute to an innovative, creative, and liveable world through urban transformations, sustainable mobility, programme development, strategy, and policy-making—always with an engaged community at the core. I prefer to go beyond purely technical solutions, focusing instead on unlocking human potential, or human infrastructure if you will. How do you truly encourage long-term active and sustainable behaviours? My background in design, the arts, architecture, and active mobility connect me to unconventional and innovative ideas, always with a solution-oriented approach. At Movares sustainable mobility team we think, act and advise on stimulating cycling, realise more inclusive bike parking and develop closer relations between the station and people on bikes. As a systems thinker, I try to be as socially and politically aware as I can, shaped by my work with diverse communities in both international and local contexts, including the Middle East, New Zealand, the UK, and the Netherlands.
