Radu Andronic has over 20 years of experience in consulting, engineering, and financing investment projects for local administrations in sustainable urban mobility, urban regeneration, and public transport systems. As coordinator of FIP Consulting, one of Romania’s leading consulting firms, he has managed and planned projects exceeding €590 million, mostly funded by European programs. Radu led the team behind Turda’s Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP), which won the 2018 DG MOVE SUMP Awards — the first and only such recognition for an Eastern European city. He has since coordinated the development of SUMPs for over 20 Romanian cities. In 2023–2024, he led the team that realized Bucharest’s first Cycling Masterplan, setting a national benchmark for cycling infrastructure in car-oriented cities. Radu holds a master’s degree in Urban Mobility from the University of Urban Planning in Bucharest.
