Nick Brown is a Board Member of the European Cycling Industries (ECI), Vice Chair of the ECI Bike Share Expert Group, and ECI lead for Social Leasing initiatives focused on widening access to cycling through innovative funding and subscription models. He is also the Founder of haveconsult, a strategic advisory business specialising in micromobility, bike share, and cycling ecosystem development across the UK and Europe. Nick has worked in the cycling and micromobility sector since 2010 and has been involved in many of the industry’s defining moments over the last decade. He supported the deployment of the London Cycle Hire Scheme in its early years, worked closely with cities and operators during the rapid rise — and subsequent challenges — of free-floating bike share in 2018, and later helped build Velogik UK into one of the country’s leading independent third-party bike share operators, delivering and supporting schemes across multiple UK cities including Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Leeds.
