Milly is a civil engineer and road safety specialist serving as Manager of Safety Audits and Inspection at the National Transport and Safety Authority. She has extensive experience in highway engineering, road safety, and transport policy, and is registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya. Milly holds a Master of Science in Highway Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam. Earlier in her career, she worked with the World Bank’s Global Road Safety Facility, where she focused on road safety and the links between transport and climate change. Her work at NTSA closely relates to active mobility, particularly improving safety for people who walk and cycle in Kenya. She is interested in safer street design, urban speed management, and inclusive transport systems that prioritize people.
