As a Program Manager at the Province of Utrecht—one of the world's leading regions for cycling innovation—I am dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable regional mobility. In my role, I focus on driving forward cycling strategies and promotion initiatives that encourage people to make the shift. I strongly believe that cycling should never be approached in isolation. Instead, it must be used as an integral solution to tackle broader challenges. Drawing on my experience in public administration, my goal is to structurally embed cycling and active mobility into large-scale spatial developments. At Velo-city Rimini, I am excited to share insights from Utrecht’s integrated approach and connect with global peers to accelerate the cycling transition.
