Lukas Junghanns is a doctoral researcher at Aalto University. His international background in transportation engineering equips him with the expertise to break down academic silos in transportation research and approach it from the perspectives of social & political sciences. His research focus is on the role of bottom-up movements, protest and civil disobedience, and how influence on planning systems to steer a transformation in existing planning paradigms.
