My name is Lucy Hayes. I am the Cycling & Walking Officer with Dublin City Council. I am part of the City Centre Projects Team that oversees the implementation of the City Centre Transport Plan (CCTP) for Dublin. This plan aims to transform Dublin City Centre into a low-traffic zone, reduce unnecessary through traffic, especially private cars, and prioritize sustainable transport modes: walking, cycling, and public transport. My area of responsibility includes behaviour change campaigns & programmes aligned to the goals of the CCTP. I also coordinate the stakeholder engagement for CCTP. My background is Policy & Advocacy, communications and leadership in the Not for Profit Sector. I'm passionate about connecting with, and meeting people where they're people where they're at, to achieve positive change, particularly in the the area of sustainability, for the betterment of our lives and our environment.
