Leticia Sabino is President Director of Instituto Caminhabilidade, a Brazil-based organization dedicated to promoting walkable cities through research, advocacy, and citizen engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in City Planning and Urban Design from University College London (UCL), where she was a Chevening Scholar, and a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), with postgraduate studies in Creative Economy and Creative Cities. She is the founder of the Walkability Institute and co-founder of the Latin American Network for Walkable Cities and Cidadeapé, an association for pedestrian mobility in São Paulo. Leticia works with participatory methodologies and urban projects focused on walkability, gender equity, and climate action. She was a panelist at COP26 and was recognized as a Remarkable Woman in Transport in 2020.
