Juliana DeCastro is a researcher and project coordinator at Aro60 Institute, a Brazilian NGO that develops social, educational and cultural projects to reduce social inequalities and make cities more resilient. With more than 10 years of experience, Juliana has expertise in research and development, analysis and monitoring of public policies, benchmarking and institutional articulation related to advocacy for sustainable cities. She develops projects related to integrated territorial development, monitoring of public policies related to urban mobility, cycle tourism, bike sharing and low carbon economy. She has a special interest in improving knowledge dissemination and technology transfer between academia, business, government and civil society.
