Joëlle Lafitte is the General Delegate of the Association de Promotion et d’Identification des Cycles (APIC) and among other various mission, on of the Operational Coordinator of Mai à vélo, a national initiative that brings together a wide range of partners to celebrate and promote cycling throughout France each May. Deeply committed to collective action and collaboration, she works closely with associations, local authorities, and institutions to make cycling accessible to everyone. Within APIC, she contributes to projects that support the development and visibility of cycling in everyday life. Through her coordination role in Mai à vélo, she helps strengthen the shared dynamic that unites all those who promote cycling as a sustainable and joyful way of getting around.
