Jean-Luc Crucke is the Belgian Federal Minister for Mobility, Climate, and Environmental Transition, responsible for Sustainable Development. He is member of the party Engagé·e·s, and describes himself as a centrist liberal who believes that nuance is a strength, enabling sustainable and effective decision-making. As former Walloon Minister for Budget and Energy, as well as a Member of Parliament and Mayor for over twenty years, he positions his work at the intersection of economic, energy, and environmental challenges. At the federal level, he promotes a vision of the transition based on more sustainable mobility and strengthened European and international cooperation.
