Jan Vermeulen (Vice-President & Treasurer ECF) born in Deinze ° 1970, is since 2001 vice-mayor or mayor of Deinze. As mayor, he became "Belgium's Bicycle Mayor", transforming his city to one of Europe's finest small cycling cities. He was founding president of Fietsberaad.be and joined the Board of ECF in 2017. He actually serves his city as vice-mayor. Jan is also president of Farys and Waterunie Operator, the largest watercompany in Flanders.
