There can be no rights and no future in a fragmented and hostile public space that sets people against each other. Cycling and active mobility are powerful tools to overcome these divisions and build a city that connects instead of divides.
I am the Councilor for Public Works, Mobility, and Urban Greenery for the City of Udine (Italy). I want to build a contemporary city with a stronger and more sustainable environment, society, and economy - a city capable of making room for everyone, driven by the awareness that every place, like every person, is connected to others. I deal with decisions that impact public space and people's daily lives: roads, mobility, safety, greenery, and urban quality. I focus on choices that truly change the city. This means thinking in the long term but acting in the short term, so that every day is a step closer to our vision. I believe in politics that makes decisions, explains them, and looks to the future, even when this means facing conflicts and resistance. For me, governing doesn't mean pleasing everyone, but taking responsibility for decisions that truly improve the city over time, giving people a quality public space that welcomes them.
