Business Administrator, with a Postgraduate Degree in Organizational Psychology, Responsible Management for Sustainability from Fundação Dom Cabral and Business Strategy for Sustainability from Stanford Business School/USA. As the President of Salvador Turism Agency, SALTUR since 2015, Edington has been responsible for managing all the “Events Platform” of the City, including the largest trio elétrico (sound truck) carnival in the world (Guinness Book). Between 2013 and 2014, he served as Secretary for the 2014 FIFA World Cup for the City of Salvador. He is the creator of the Salvador Bicycle Program, a set of integrated actions to encourage the use of bicycles with the aim of improving urban mobility, quality of life and generating income through cycling.
