With a background in political science, Henrik works to develop dynamic public policies that can influence mobility policies and ultimately grow cycling. He champions a multidisciplinary approach, and tries to builds strategic coalitions across sectors (public, private, civic society and academia) as well as across policy domains (health, climate, business, education, urban mobility and much more). Henrik has strong ties to Latin America and worked three years with the Government of the City of Buenos Aires with sustainable urbanism and was a founding member of the NGO Argentina en Bici. Currently he participates in Copenhagen’s strategi cooperation with Bogotá. He has served in the City of Copenhagen’s Mobility Department since 2020, where he has organized several political Cycling Summit’s. As the chairperson of the Cycling Embassy of Denmark, he is leading the organization’s transformation into becoming a commercial industry leader.
