Henrik Lundorff Kristensen is a civil servant working for the City of Copenhagen's Technical and Environmental Administration. He is a chief consultant with the Mobility department, providing specialized advice on cycling policies. Henrik also serves as Vice-president at the Cycling Embassy of Denmark. With a background in political science, Henrik's professional focus revolves around two main areas: 1) cultivating strategic coalitions to influence political decisions related to mobility, and 2) formulating and implementing dynamic public policies aimed at enhancing cycling experiences. Henrik advocates for a multidisciplinary approach to cycling, recognizing its relevance in health, mobility, climate mitigation, education policy, and beyond. Henrik played a pivotal role in significant initiatives, such as organizing the Copenhagen Bike Summit during the Tour de France 2022 and coordinating the national effort around Denmark's goal of "20% more cycling before 2030" in Denmark. Collaborating closely with Eurocities, ECF, CIE, CONEBI, and various European cities, Henrik has helped enhance cities' voice towards the EU in the development of pertinent public policies related to cycling.
