Feridun Ekmekci is a long-distance touring cyclist and cycling strategy expert specializing in sustainable mobility and cycling tourism. As President of ENVERÇEVKO Association, he serves as Türkiye’s National EuroVelo Coordinator, leading the development and standardization of European cycling routes in Türkiye. He is a member of the Cycling Infrastructure Expert Group of the UNECE and contributed to the European Cycling Master Plan (2022–2024). At Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, he lectures in technical programs and conducts applied research on cycling tourism and sustainable transport. His work focuses on climate action, resilient cities, and promoting cycling as a tool for low-carbon development and healthy living.
