Daniel Velázquez-Cortés is a PhD candidate at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and Pompeu Fabra University. His research focuses on the health and environmental co-benefits of active mobility to support policies linking transport, health, and sustainability. As part of the European CATALYSE project, he conducts health impact assessments (HIA) of physical activity and active transport across European contexts. A physician trained at Universidad Veracruzana (Mexico), with a Master’s in Global Health from ISGlobal and the University of Barcelona.
