Daniel is a mobility researcher and consultant at Büro für Mobilität AG (bfm) in Bern, Switzerland. After his studies in geography, he worked for a sustainable mobility NGO and as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Lausanne where he completed a PhD thesis on residents of car-free housing. Since 2020, he has been working at bfm where he combines his two passions - practice-oriented research on cycling and mobility management, including the promotion of cycling. Daniel is the co-president of the Swiss Mobility Management association. He believes that participatory research based on human needs enables us to create a more cycling-friendly world for all.
