Ashik Jain is the Bicycle Mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad and an Architect and Urban Planner at Designshala Collaborative. With over 13 years of experience, he works closely with urban local bodies on sustainable mobility, people-oriented planning, and inclusive street design. He has supported Pimpri Chinchwad extensively since 2019 through policy development, technical advisory roles, and active-mobility implementation, including the city’s non-motorised transport policy, neighbourhood mobility pilots, and public engagement programmes. His work bridges planning, community action, and on-ground delivery, contributing to India’s shift toward healthier, climate-responsive cities.
