Anna works as a strategic bicycle planner for the City of Copenhagen - probably world’s best cycling city. Commuting on a 4 m wide bicycle path over the Queen Louise’s Bridge is her daily reminder of people (re)claiming the streets. Having re-worked Copenhagen’s guidelines for cycle-friendly infrastructure, Anna has intricate knowledge of bicycle infrastructure. Holding a master’s degree in urban planning, she draws on a holistic approach and 15 years of experience in planning for cyclist- and people friendly cities. Anna is also a board member for the professional network of Danish bicycle planners.
Anna is passionate about learning and disseminating best-practice solutions and is looking forward to moderating the session about high-quality cycling networks in Ghent.
