Ádám Bodor graduated on the University of Szeged with a master in Urban and Regional Development and Environmental Geography and later earned a degree in Economics. Early in his career, he led the implementation of an industrial park development, gaining experience in managing infrastructure developments and utilizing EU funding. Later he worked as an expert at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics’ developing and evaluating development programs, followed by consultancy work supporting the preparation and implementation of EU projects. From 2005 to 2009, he served as ministerial commissioner at the Ministry of Economy and Transport, preparing and coordinating Hungary’s first national cycling program. Between 2010 and 2019, he was Director of the European Cyclists’ Federation in Brussels. In 2015, as Vice President of the European Tourism Manifesto initiative, he represented the entire European transport sector internally and to the EU institutions. In 2020 he became the leading expert of the new Hungarian national cycling and active tourism strategy joined and later joined Transport for Budapest (BKK). From 2021 he led the Directorate of Mobility Development, since April 2025, he works as a Deputy CEO for Mobility, and from July 2025 he is also president of the BKK Board.
