Cycling for Life. Promoting Healthy Lifestyles
Encouraging cycling among young people is a powerful way to promote healthier lifestyles and shape the future of mobility in our cities and regions. Yet this group is often overlooked in cycling promotion and rarely involved in decision-making processes which deserves some attention. Speakers in this session will present evidence-based programmes and initiatives that demonstrate the physical and mental health benefits of cycling while building lifelong skills. They will also explore campaigns geared towards young people that promote cycling, community-building and environmental awareness. Together, these examples showcase scalable approaches that empower the next generation to move confidently, safely, and sustainably.
