Health impact + cycling for all ages
16 Jun 2026 14:15 - 14:45 Poster
This poster session explores cycling’s contributions to health and its accessibility across all ages. Research contributions investigating health impacts highlight experimental studies, wearable-based approaches, and strategies to quantify and maximise the benefits of replacing short car trips, including adaptations for vulnerable populations in extreme conditions. Complementing this, the session showcases initiatives promoting cycling for diverse age groups, from gamified safety training and school-based programs challenging car-centric habits, to understanding senior cyclists’ experiences and fostering intergenerational active mobility
