FIAB
FIAB Italia is a volunteer-based environmental organisation that has been promoting the daily use of the bicycle and cycle tourism to improve people’s quality of life, protect the environment and counteract the climate crisis for over 30 years.
It has approx. 20,000 members and over 160 local branches. Each year, it organises more than 4,000 tours and events all over Italy, plus communication campaigns and conferences to advocate for cycling for both commuting and leisure and for road safety.
It is the National EuroVelo Coordination Centre and cooperates with Italian regions to survey and promote the Italian cycleway network.
