ECOLSYSTEMS
ECOLSYSTEMS offers specialists in the construction of road safety infrastructure a range of high-quality road curbs.
Made of recycled and in turn recyclable plastic material, composed of selected, high-strength aggregates, EcolSystems road curbs are designed to ensure maximum safety and durability over time. The finishing layer protects the products from the wear and tear of atmospheric agents and potential impacts from vehicular traffic. Our company was born from a profound respect for the environment and nature. Having gained over a decade of experience in the plastic recovery and molding sectors and in the road sign sector did the rest.
Ecolsystems, has developed to ensure the safety and security of urban mobility, with a particular focus on making bike lanes safer.
Our approach is based on sustainability: we produce modular road marking systems made largely from recycled plastic. This material is not only an eco-friendly choice but also ensures that our products have exceptional mechanical strength and a very long lifespan, even when constantly exposed to the atmospheric agents.
We regularly work with public agencies, design firms, and specialized companies, offering cutting-edge solutions.
The product family “Safe Separator” was created with a specific goal: to combine road safety with sustainability. It consists of a series of curbs designed to delineate bike lanes, median strips, and road edges, made entirely from recycled plastic. The material used guarantees extremely high impact resistance and is unaffected by the passage of time and harsh weather, maintaining its properties even under the sun or in freezing conditions.
“Safe Separator” Range: to protect cyclists riding near motor vehicle traffic.
If the goal is to create a code-compliant bike lane, the Standard and Asymmetric models are the ideal solutions: they are versatile, unobtrusive, and perfectly comply with all legal requirements. However, when the road becomes more challenging—perhaps due to heavy traffic or frequent passing of trucks and buses—the Extreme version comes into play. It is taller than the others and uses a unique interlocking system that connects the pieces together, creating an even more solid and secure barrier. Precisely because of its robustness, many also choose it as a traffic divider to manage car lanes.
