Bikademy is a digital cycling concept that encourages and rewards people for everyday cycling, exploring destinations by bike, and turning movement into measurable sustainability impact.
Through the Bikademy mobile app, users are rewarded for cycling in two main ways.
The first is through Challenges, designed to encourage everyday cycling and active mobility. Users track their rides in the app and compete in four inclusive categories based on total daily distance: 0–10 km, 10–20 km, 20–60 km and 60+ km. This structure makes Bikademy accessible not only to athletes, but also to commuters, recreational riders, students, employees, families and anyone who occasionally uses a bike. Challenges track kilometers, rides and estimated CO₂ savings, while users can earn daily and monthly rewards for the best cyclists in each category and gender.
For cities, regions and municipalities, Bikademy offers Residents’ Clash, a ready-to-use ESG active mobility tool that encourages residents to cycle more in their daily lives. It combines gamification, public campaigns, rewards and measurable ESG data, including number of rides, total kilometers, CO₂ savings and anonymized ride maps. For companies, Employees’ Clash helps activate employees around wellbeing, commuting and sustainability goals.
The second core feature is Studies, where cities, regions and destinations become open-air cycling academies. Each Study includes several Exams, specific cultural, natural or local points of interest that users must visit by bike. By checking in through the app with GPS and a photo, users discover local heritage, complete the Study and earn rewards. This makes Bikademy a useful tool not only for mobility, but also for cycling tourism, destination promotion and local discovery.
Bikademy also supports event and tourism activations through Special Studies and Special Challenges, allowing cities, destinations, brands and event organizers to create short-term cycling campaigns around sustainability, tourism, culture, health or community engagement.
In 2026, Bikademy is expanding globally with blockchain-powered rewards on VeChain, making it possible to reward real-world cycling activity transparently while keeping the app simple for everyday users.
