Velo-city 2024 Ghent Partnership & Exhibition Opportunities now available.

Following a 2023 sellout edition in Leipzig, ECF and the City of Ghent unveil new and improved opportunities to get involved in the 2024 edition of the annual world cycling summit 18 – 21 June.

The European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) and the City of Ghent have unveiled the Partnership & Exhibition Opportunities brochure for the 2024 edition of the Velo-city conference series. Renowned as the place where cities & regions discover the latest innovations to equip their streets for #MoreCycling. This year, several new innovations are planned for the Velo-city Exhibition experience itself. Proudly continuing ECF’s commitment to listening to participant feedback and ensuring the conference remains the premier annual meeting point for the active mobility and sustainable urban mobility planning sectors.

“Where cities & regions discover the latest innovations to equip their streets for #MoreCycling.”

The Velo-city Exhibition provides a unique opportunity for companies and organisations that are engaged in the fields of sustainable transport, urban planning and related sectors to engage with their key stakeholders and customers. No other conference brings together so many public authorities for the explicit reason of increasing cycling modal share and active travel. In fact, 37% of attending Velo-citizens are representatives of local, regional and national public authorities working on improving conditions for everyday cyclists. This makes the Velo-city Exhibition, the annual world cycling summit’s central networking venue, an ideal occasion to make lasting connections in the world of active mobility and beyond.

Each year, the Velo-city team, in collaboration with the host city, work hard to innovate and adapt to feedback from our surveys so that our partners can make the most of the Velo-city opportunity. This year, the City of Ghent has gone above and beyond with a range of new and exciting ways to get brands involved in the world cycling summit and contribute to the success of the event. From ensuring that Velo-citizens are well-caffeinated as our official coffee partner to providing ample access to work lounges or Wi-Fi, there really is something for every brand to consider taking advantage of! All our partnership packages can be found within the Partnership & Exhibition Opportunities brochure.

A historic cycling setting

A summit celebrating cycling also merits an iconic venue in which to welcome our Velo-citizens once more. Velo-city 2024 Ghent plenaries will be held in the world-famous ‘t Kuipke velodrome and the adjacent Floraliёnhal will provide a home for the exhibition and parallel sessions. This historic hall was Belgium’s first purpose-built meeting and conference infrastructure when it was completed in time for the 1913 World Expo. Taking it’s name from the Floraliёn Gent, a unique floriculture festival that is held every four years, the bright and spacious halls will provide ample room for the Velo-city Exhibition, the hub around which the entire Velo-city experience revolves.
