In true Velo-city style, thousands of cyclists flooded the streets of Ghent on the Wednesday evening. Both international Velo-citizens and locals rode together along the city's most scenic cycle lanes and bridges, enjoying music and live performances. The Bike Parade ended with a lively Après-fiets party in the city centre. Ghent had no problem catering for the thousands of people arriving by bike, as the Cycling Embassy of Ghent provided plenty of temporary bicycle parking spaces, even transforming a car parking into a bike parking!
